OUR EXPERIENCE
Rene Bayardo is an established leader with more than 15 years of experience in government relations and California policy development including experience in labor and employment, healthcare, privacy and consumer protection, financial services, insurance, energy, gaming and more. He has a remarkable history of building and maintaining trusted relationships and working collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Rene previously served as Government Relations Director for the largest labor union in California and one of the most powerful political organizations in the state. During this time, he managed the public policy and advocacy programs and spearheaded negotiations on high profile legislation. Most recently in 2023, he helped lead the way to the creation of the fast food council (AB 1228) and the $25 minimum wage for healthcare workers (SB 525). These big wins garnered national attention in publications such as the New York Times and Los Angeles Times.
